Parts Therapy

                    "Parts is parts" like Dr. Crow says", he is my instructor and my mentor for Hypnotherapy. Parts therapy recognizes that there are different parts of the self, the way that individuals can process thinking, process feelings and act differently, recognizes the idea that humans have different aspects of themselves. With these different internal parts we can address inner conflicts, address trauma and understand self sabotage. Understanding that we all have different personalities that are with us everyday will help you to be more open to tapping into these different "parts of you" and being able to understand yourself in a deeper internal way. It might sound weird at first I know, but it has been proven that we do in fact have different parts of ourselves that act differently, think differently and feel differently. Healing the mother wound.

 There are a couple of things that you can start to change in your life to start working on your mother wound. First, start by understanding if you have one,  if it holds a part of you. If it does, you will start by practicing acceptance and self awareness. Forgive by understanding your mother and the fact that she is also human and she was learning as well as you are learning about life everyday. Understanding her means that you understand that how she treated you is not a reflection of your world because in those moments she did not know the value that she gave you. Now accept it, journal about it, feel it, replay it one more time but this time you understand her more. We can not go back to our childhood, it is not okay to be in existence as an adult still yearning those feelings and validations.
