Parts Therapy
"Parts is parts" like Dr. Crow says", he is my instructor and my mentor for Hypnotherapy. Parts therapy recognizes that there are different parts of the self, the way that individuals can process thinking, process feelings and act differently, recognizes the idea that humans have different aspects of themselves. With these different internal parts we can address inner conflicts, address trauma and understand self sabotage. Understanding that we all have different personalities that are with us everyday will help you to be more open to tapping into these different "parts of you" and being able to understand yourself in a deeper internal way. It might sound weird at first I know, but it has been proven that we do in fact have different parts of ourselves that act differently, think differently and feel differently. In parts therapy we integrate these parts by asking questions, we ask questions after a moderate deepening technique so we can talk directly with the subconscious mind, this helps with permanent change. When we get rid of a negative memory we have to replace it with a positive one. During this session we focus on following strong emotions and addressing the impact of the trauma behind it. Using metaphors and vivid detailed imagination we follow that strong emotion and we ask that part of you to come out, in a way its very weird but trust me it works! Its like your separating different parts of your mind and breaking them down separately by addressing what its function is . For example a person that self sabotages themselves daily can be a person that shows up motivated and is always positive, here we see that this individual has a part of them that always talks negative on why this shouldn't be, not being confident enough, low self esteem etc., bringing the individual down in many situations and stopping this individual from fully being who they are meant to be because that little voice is just so strong and so deep in the mind that it has power over actions and emotions that make you change the way you see things. The conscious mind is supposed to keep us safe so it does everything to do so. This is why we focus on the deeper aspect of this by allowing and guiding the inner mind to separate its self for it to be able to be understood better. In the situation above we acknowledge the fact that there was a moment in this persons life that they were afraid and they got judged and it hurt them deeply that it became a part of their brain and now shapes that way this individual thinks by manifesting its self as that little voice in your head, here we find the root cause, and with detailed imagination we look at the root, we reframe it and replace and we let it go. The mind understands repetition so with repetition your brains connections start to change, causing those negative connections to not even noticed anymore, the trauma that used to be there is no longer there and it will show in your present life because "that moment of deep trauma" is not there to change the way you present yourself anymore, that little voice is tiny now and its far away from your present moment that you can't even hear what it says anymore. After this we use what we call Gestalt Therapy which focuses in the present moment and helps through future role playing to explore if these inner conflicts continue in the deep mind by being felt in a future situation or if we have developed the resolution of the problem. Parts therapy is the fastest way to get rapid results. This does not work for everyone but when the individual is very receptive fast results happen and the cool thing about it is,, that they are permanent!
If you do not want to sit through sessions of talk therapy and talk about the same problem over and over and over again and you want quick and rapid results try parts therapy and hypnosis to see if it suits you! You might just give your self one try and realize that your life shifted and completely changed in a matter of minutes.!
