Staying Positive.
Have the courage to know who you are! When you know your self you know what's for you and what's not, you respect your self. Stop ignoring your boundaries, write down the most important boundaries for you, be as clear as you can be, ask your self what are some things that are non-negatable to you?, where do you draw the line at? This, is where you start before you apply the actions of doing, this is because you have to be sure of the type of relationship you have with yourself to be able to defend who you are and be able to cut of everything if it doesn't resonate with you, be firm with your self so you can be firm with your actions.
Now, stop chasing approval or validation of others, this causes weakness in your confidence because it drains the ability to decide for yourself and you lose trust in yourself. You have to make firm decisions for yourself, if you don't know how here are some tips:
- Validate yourself morning and night write things down on a sticky note to help you remember, put them around the places that you spend most of your time in.
-Write 5 things that you are grateful for every morning and every night (celebrate your progress, even the small steps)
-Write 3 things that you are very good at.
When your making a decision ask yourself, am I doing this for me or for others? (If it's for you, good keep going) if your answer is (for others) reconsider your decision and ask if your chasing validation or if your trying to prove yourself to someone) Remember that being kind to others shows up differently than trying to prove yourself to others.
Limit external validation, your not going to find validation for yourself in others. Stop comparing to other people, especially in social media, all of that does not matter, we are not living in that external place we are living this reality in the now. Look at people that inspire you not people that trigger you. Stop taking away your own joy.
Stop over thinking things, including procrastination, If it helps, set a time limit for yourself to make decisions. It will be like your decision deadline, for example, give your self 10 minutes, one hour or even 24 hours but make sure you make a decision and its your decision.
It's okay to fail, every winner has failed before. If you don't fail how do you want to become good? You can't. you have to fail to see progress, the faster your fail the quicker your going to learn, so do something, do something today!
Have confidence in yourself, trust your gut, feel what you feel. When you start to being open and confident to trust yourself the universe will trust you with what it has in store for you. This is because the universe sees that you are being confident on what your doing and you are sure of who you are so it will not be easy for people around you to persuade you.
Don't let negative energy distract you. If it does come your way make it into something positive, reframe it to your advantage.
Don't be afraid to stand out, as someone that has that positivity shining from within there is going to be people to look down on you and be negative towards you, don't stop. Be firm with who you are, because just like there is people that are going to be negative there is also those people that are going to be positive. Positivity is always stronger.
Stop down playing your strengths.
Own it, Share it, Talk about it, Share your wins, Stop being that wall to yourself. You don't have to ask for permission to start, you are in control, do something, it doesn't have to be big, start small but start.
Override those negative experiences with positive experiences and your life will start to change.
