How do I become truthful to myself?
Wait, who asked that? We all have a voice in our heads that talks to us everyday, I have one too. We can't really get over it, but we can control it I'm sure of it. We also have our gut that some say it's like our 3rd brain it helps us determine if something is right or wrong, when we say "this feels right" or " this just doesn't feel right" we are talking directly to our gut. When we say things like " I think I should" is when you’re using your brain and when we say "I believe" we are focusing our attention to our heart. Try to do it, and focus your attention on each. You'll see what I mean. In our mind we will always have several parts that talk to us daily whether we are about to make a choice on what we want to eat or what book to read next or if your morning presentation is well done. We tend to be unhappy when we choose something and it doesn't go our way, we start to feel guilt and shame and our brains ego loves that. Let me explain one thing, our ego tries to lower us keeping us in one place making us think that we keep on wanting those "toxic" behaviors keeping us in a loop giving us those short dopamine highs that makes us think were happy and satisfied, why because we keep doing it. This repetitive loop makes it hard for us to "change". The ego wants to keep being in control, its very intense actually, it loves it when we stay in this loop and we keep talking down or doubting ourselves so when we take initiative to make happy moments, to start to be in control of our self talk, the ego works harder seeing that "happiness" as a warning sign making you feel guilt. This is because your own mind, your ego deceives the mind making you feel a separation from God. Trying to convince you that your guilt is real. You've probably heard this before "God is loving, and all knowing and all powerful" being the source of ultimate love, having knowledge of everything and being able to act upon the world. He then had an epiphany of a cycle, suddenly realizing that his perception was distorted, that he was looking through a darken glass telling himself that his mind is misperceiving what is and that his mind needed correction." This change occurs with inner guidance, inner work, when I started having sessions with my hypnotherapist we started to pick out certain beliefs that were intact in my mind. Working with guiding me to letting go of that old belief system, finding the root of the cause and feeding it with positive suggestibility, reframing old thoughts, understanding what is really mine and what was not, choosing my truthful self and releasing what no longer resonated with me letting these positive new experiences fill those dark places with light and positivity. When we have feelings come up making us feel a certain way I believe it’s better to look at them, to understand them, see if they are truly yours or are they the ego distortions that try to keep you living in fear. If so, stop giving those thoughts your energy, let go of those upsetting emotions, when you release those upsetting emotions you will feel very happy because those same upsetting emotions were the ones causing you to feel down, negative and not yourself. Eventually we get sick and tried of feeling like sick and tired that just like that we have a realization that we prefer to be happy and to be our true authentic self.
David Hoffmeister said " be a happy learner," Detach "its better to be happy than to be right" prioritizing happiness over being correct.
You have permission to be your self, go with the joy, when we start to be mindful and we practice this it gets easier because you start being your self more often replacing even more dark thoughts with golden light of happiness and always remember" we attract what we are not what we want" so change your mind, those thoughts and your 3D reality will follow and project your inner healing seeing life with love.
